The worry and hopelessness feel
inescapable.
Day after day, they affect everything you do.
Taxing your relationships, your job, and your ability to do life – you can’t even think about having fun or doing things that excite you.
You’re just managing your emotions in the moment. It’s draining and consuming.
Life will always throw us curveballs.
You can’t avoid discomfort no matter how hard you try.
This is especially true when dealing with the pain of past wounds, anxiety, or depression.
Fear, anger, and sadness seem to follow you wherever you go, and there doesn’t seem to be any escape.
Trying to cope only gets you so far.
The easiest solution is to avoid the stressors that cause you pain and distress.
And it can be tempting to fall back into the old unhealthy patterns that have kept you afloat until now.
However, you can only convince yourself that you are unbothered for so long, ignoring the unease that sits deep in the core of your being.
You dream of being more resilient.
Resilience feels like the holy grail of mental health – highly desirable yet unattainable for most.
If only there were some way to get to the root of your struggles instead of just coping with them.
But, this is nearly impossible to achieve when these unresolved issues from your past continue to hang over you.
There is another way.
By talking and listening to the body, you can begin to release the
deep unsettled issues keeping you from enjoying life to its fullest.
When you truly believe you will be okay, you can finally relax into
the moment and begin healing.
Hey there. I’m Dr. Leslie.
Believe it or not, I’ve been right where you are.
I know what it’s like to struggle with depression on and off for decades or be on medication that works sporadically.
I know how it feels to feel like a victim but want so much to be a hero instead. Maybe you cope really well at times and other times… not-so-well.
Every session, I hold in my mind what it was like to be where you are right now, tapping into a deep well of insight and empathy. Then, I serve as your guide to lead you from overwhelming emotions into clarity using Somatic Breathwork, just as my therapist led me over five years ago.
It’s time for something different than talk therapy. It’s time to quit trying to convince your mind and actually heal it.
Start to see the world,
and yourself, more clearly.
Learn to embrace each day with clarity and confidence. It’s the
new you, and it is here to stay.
You deserve the priceless freedom and joy of a life well spent.
